An intrepid group of Year 9 Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award participants travelled to the Quantocks, where they successfully completed their practice expedition.
The Duke of Edinburgh Award is a national youth charity that operates throughout the UK and was founded by HRH Duke of Edinburgh in 1956. The DofE programme is open to young people between the ages of 14 – 24 and provides an opportunity for participants to experience new activities or develop existing skills.
The expedition routes ran through the Quantocks countryside with the teams walking between 35-40 km over the two days. The students excelled in all aspects , we are proud of them.
