Enrichment Week

Every year at St. Dunstan’s School, students enjoy five days of fun-filled enrichment in which they can choose from a range of trips and school based activities. Enrichment week takes place during the last week of term each year. It is a central part of our Character Education programme, as the week provides all of our students in Years 7-9 with the opportunity to develop and build skills, knowledge and competences that are underpinned by our 5 key Track values.

We commit to activities that enrich the curriculum and help to make learning relevant. These provide a different perspective and encourage openness to new and often challenging experiences. We seek to offer a comprehensive programme of activities that broadens student horizons and enhances cultural capital. During this week, our Year 10 students have Work Experience, providing them with the opportunity to gain an invaluable insight into the world of work. We believe that this is an essential part of their character journey, which sets them up for life beyond St Dunstan’s, enabling them to make better future choices so that they canachieve their ambitions.
