Year 11 students joined thousands of other students for the RSC's special schools' screening of 'Macbeth'. The session which took place over the whole morning, involved students watched a live screening of the play as well as listening to the actors discussing their characters, influences and opinion of the play. As the exam season grows ever closer; the screening was a very timely opportunity that enabled revision of the whole play. As well as revising the plot, language and characters, students were able to analyse the stagecraft and original decision made by the director, for example, casting children as the witches. One student said, "It was easier to pick out the key quotes for revision when the actors were performing." Following the performance, students created a cue card full of revision ideas to help them with their exam preparation.
